I got a call at about 2:30 in the morning on Sunday from my friend Raul Ries in California with an urgent request to pray for Pastor Chuck Smith. Chuck and Kay's daughter Jan called him informing him that her dad was being rushed to the hospital and that she thought something was wrong with his heart. It turns out that Chuck had a small stroke (probably a transient ischemic attack) and was being hospitalized to be monitored for 48 hours. He was scheduled to be released today but I'd like to enlist as many prayers for him as I can. Please pray that Pastor Chuck will recover expediently and that his family will be comforted and encouraged.

Dominic & I have been praying for Pastor Chuck. We had the privilege to meet him many years ago at youth camp in CA. He was so sweet & down to earth! We were so shocked that he seemed to truly care about a couple of teenagers!
I'll pray for his recovery and that there wouldn;t be any damage done to his brain.I've loved his teaching for many years now.
