Nates Going Home

This is at least a bit happier picture than the one of the last few days. Nate is feeling somewhat better today and will be going home (to our place) for a few days until he can have the needed surgery to reconstruct his tibial plateau. The device in his leg will keep the bones in proper alignment as well as providing the required tension that the accident removed. The physical therapist has been in his room making him get out of bed, move to a chair and use his walker--all needed steps towards recovery.

Praise God he gets to go home for a bit!
Praying for you all. Please let us know if you guys need anything. Dominic & I are just a hop, skip, & jump away.

A MUCH nicer picture! I can almost see a smile there! Poor things - still praying for Nate. I know he'll be in good hands at home.

Wow, I hurt to see those pics. I broke my shoulder while in SOM almost 10 years ago! I had pins and surgery and the like. You will be amazed at how soon he'll be willing to "get back out there" to do all the crazy things again. I ended up catching the tail end of that same snowboard season that year at least one day! A little gun shy at first, never as invincible, but on the board regardless. --Sally

I have been praying for all the Heitzigs since Nate's accident. I have imagined there is lots of pain and distraction. I am praying for expedited healing and comfort from the Spirit. Blessings to all.

Have been praying for Nate and Janae'.
I miss her in the Cave, but I know she would rather be with her husband.

Hey Nate, we're praying for you over here in England. Hope you're back on your feet real soon and can make it over here in July! Doug @CC Hastings
